New Year with Newbery

Each year in January, a new book is chosen by the ALA to exemplify excellence in children's literature. The John Newbery Medal was first awarded in 1922, and in my humble opinion, it is a good indicator of a worthwhile read. While we won't know this year's winner until later this month, stop by the library today to look over past winners. Here is a list of Newbery Medal books.
